 Independence Day was celebrated with great fervour and enthusiasm paying gratitude to the nation. Phase I of the Programme started with a soulful payer recital followed by flag hoisting and National Anthem. The second phase of the programme commenced with a prayer followed by the introduction of Chief Guest Commodore Raman Arora. The day witnessed a mesmerizing performance by Warriors of SPIPS, a melodious musical treat by the Exotic Paulians and a zealous speech by Miss. Ashley Johnson.

S P I P S i n a s s o c i a t i o n w i t h R o o m a n Technologies, Bengaluru, organized a sixty hours’ Workshop under the agship of the National Skills Development Corporation (NSDC), New Delhi. The Workshop was in two phases. First phase of the Workshop was inaugurated by the Director Dr. Fr. C. Michael John and the second phase by the Principal Dr. Sr. Lilly V.S. The Training started from 1st May and lasted till 24th May ’14. The Trainers were Mr. Naval T. Menon (Certied Network Trainer- CISCO) and Mr. Subhojeet Saha (Certied IT Trainer-Microsoft). Main Topics covered in the Workshop were Concept of Networking, Data Sharing, Server Setup, IT Protocols and Guide to improve Typing Skills.
